“Over five decades of success. Five days of opportunity. Five shows in one. There’s simply nothing like it for building connections for business growth.”

What started out as an empty hall on 22 August 2022, was transformed into an exhibition by an amazing team of stand builders.
Let me give you a break down of what happened. In July a school field was decked out with pieces of the Multotec stand to check that everything was fitting and that all the pieces were available. Inspections were made and the final go-ahead was given to start.
A few fun facts
■ About 6 tons of board material was
used
■ About 1800 screws plus 3 kg of T-nails
■ 11 x 20 L drums of PVA paint for the
stand, plus 3x 5 L spray for the plinths
etc.
On the 25th of August, we were given access to the expo centre to start the build-up with the rigging going up to keep our walls and equipment in place for safety.
This massive job carried on until the 4th of September where the final finishing touches of shining the model stands and buffing the pulping chute, polishing the spiral, spritzing the screen deck and burnishing the integrated liner. Finally, the Multotec 2022 Electra Mining stand was ready for the show.
The show happened and for a week. On various days and schedules at least 100 staff members stood for the 9-hour day seeing, what sure felt like, each and every single of the 30,000 show visitors to Electra Mining 2022.
Once again thank you to staff members as well as the many managers and exco members who also joined us and assisted in manning the stand for the day and interacted with the various visitors.
Sadly, the breakdown started on the 6th of September, and by the 13th of September, the hall was empty again. Nasrec expo centre was left a little less shiny and sad that we had all left this building, but Multotec will return and show how we are truly Multotec Unlimited.
